I was in Thompson to attend the KTC Tribal days. This annual event's first-day activities featured U13, U16, U40 hockey tournaments, where I participated in a ceremonial puck drop, joined by Grand Chief Wastesicoot.
I had fun as a judge at the Beverly Brightnose Talent Competition which featured amazing music talent. Seeing the talents on stage and the passion of the crowd gave me nostalgic memories of how the North has shaped me. Migwech to Grand Chief and council, and all organisers and participants for putting this together and making it a success.
