I am excited to share an update about a new way to stay in touch with me as your MP! Every resident across Churchill –Keewatinook Aski is invited to tune in for a monthly update on the radio.
We have recently launched MP’s Corner with Rebecca Chartrand on Arctic Radio – CHTM in Thompson, CFAR in Flin Flon, and CJAR in The Pas, airing on the last Friday of every month at 11:00 AM and re-airing on NCI FM at 6 PM on the first Wednesday of every month.
I will sit down with Sue from Arctic Radio monthly for a 30-minute conversation about the issues that matter most to our northern and Indigenous communities. Housing, Emergency Preparedness, and Infrastructure Investments are just a few examples of the pressing issues that I carry with me to Parliament on behalf of this riding.
And I want to hear from you. Listeners can submit questions in advance through Arctic Radio or [email protected] and I will aim to answer them on air. With Churchill–Keewatinook Aski covering 73 communities spread across three-quarters of Manitoba, this program is designed to close the distance between me and the communities I represent.
